According to another account, the Could've Been King and the Army of Meanwhiles and Neverweres were among the ancient weapons from the Dark Times which the Time Lords had vowed to never use again only to employ them out of desperation during the Time War until, (GAME: A Brief History of Space and Time [+]Loading...["A Brief History of Space and Time (game)"]) by the last day of the Time War, only the Moment was left in the Omega Arsenal. The War Doctor fought against the Meanwhiles and "the troops of Neverwere", as noted in A Prologue. (PROSE: A Prologue) The Tenth Doctor later mentioned this Army as one of the horrors that could be released if the Saxon Master broke the time-lock on the War, along with the Dalek Empire, the Nightmare Child, the Skaro Degradations and the Horde of Travesties. (PROSE: Out of the Box) The Cwejen were a "species" created by the Great Houses during the War in Heaven by diffracting Chris Cwej's timeline, creating an entire army of coexisting temporal clones of Cwej.
