Dr C.J. Sansom was a historian and a reader of the website Doctor Who?.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

In 2004, Dr C.J. Sansom was researching Henry VIII's visit to York in 1541, when they found an "unexpected cache of very interesting Tudor parchments" in an archive, which included a document which seemed to prove that Henry VIII was actually the illegitimate grandson of an archer and had no right to the throne. However, the Ninth Doctor ran up to Sansom, after they began excitedly reading the document, and grabbed the cache, mentioning that he had to return the cache else Rose would be placed on the rack. After the Doctor left, Sansom searched for other papers that may relate to the cache, but they had no luck.

In March 2005, Sansom wrote about their encounter with the Doctor on the conspiracy website Doctor Who?. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man?)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

It is clear that the C.J. Sansom in Have You Seen This Man? is the in-universe counterpart of real world author C. J. Sansom, who was also a historian. It is not clear if the real C.J. Sansom wrote this entry or if someone impersonated him.
