Fireball Mystery Flight! (short story)
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Fireball Mystery Flight! was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, it was not related to The Daleks with the titular article instead making reference to the Fireball XL5 comic story President Offers Peace..., the third part of a multi-series crossover with the DWU.

Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- For the first time in living memory, Space City has banned all reporters from the base. The security clamp-down occurred after they were hustled from their beds at midnight and escorted from the Space Base to a hotel on the edge of the Pacific island.
- The correspondent reports that they were just in time to see Fireball XL5 screaming spacewards. The details of the flight are not known but the correspondent speculates that it is related to the border dispute with the Astran Empire.
- The XL5 is pictured heading for Astra with the Automatic Telecommunications Satellite (SCATS).
- Reports from Bereznik report that an English woman is leading an attack on the castle prison of Kirov. The woman is believed to be Lady Penelope, a TV 21 reporter. It is not certain whether the conflict is a general revolt or just an attempt to force the release of Professor Laryak.
