A Letter from the Doctor (DWM 6 short story)
A Letter from the Doctor was a short story printed in DWM 6, and was the sixth in the A Letter from the Doctor series. It was structured as a letter "written" by the Fourth Doctor to the readers of Doctor Who Weekly.
The story was actually written by Dez Skinn, a fact he kept concealed for many years until he revealed it on his website.[1]
Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]
In his latest letter, the Fourth Doctor welcomes readers to another issue of Dr Who Weekly, filled as usual with comic strips, features, photos and a competition. He says that, with ten digital watches to be won, this competition gives readers a chance to become a fledgling Doctor themselves as they will then have "time on [their] hands". The Doctor promises the competition will be great fun in itself as it involves the creation of a brand new monster adversary for him, directing readers to page 7 for further details.
