And now for a story... was a three-part short story released on 22 December 2020 by Immersive Everywhere to coincide with the Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious immersive experience Time Fracture. It was illustrated by Jamie Lenman. The short story was an homage to Twas the Night Before Christmas and is also a direct sequel to 14684 UNIT Field Log, showing the same message from Kate Stewart.

Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]

On 24 December, a message by Kate Stewart from UNIT HQ is broadcast to a group of four humans via a television, to recruit them. Meeting at UNIT HQ, the group faces off against Daleks, Cybermen, and Weeping Angels, while forming closer bonds with each other. They conclude their mission, visiting an alien market place before returning home. Outside, in the snow, the Doctor and the TARDIS watch over them.
