Gift

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Gift

A gift, or a present, was an item that was given from an individual or group to another.

It was customary for one to receive gifts on their birthday. (TV: The Pirate Planet, Rise of the Cybermen, Prisoner of the Judoon, et al.)

Gifts were also exchanged at Christmas. (TV: The Christmas Invasion, The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe, et al.) Santa Claus was known for delivering gifts on Christmas Eve. (TV: Last Christmas, WC: 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, et al.)

An individual Cephla once claimed that humans were the only people in the galaxy to give each other gifts, (COMIC: Gift Snatched!) though accounts of other, non-Earth-based species participating in the act are known, such as the Lengo of Lengos Four, who created their own festival based on Christmas.
