The 2nd episode of Totally Doctor Who's first series premiered on the Thursday before the BBC One debut of Tooth and Claw. It featured David Tennant.

This weeks studio guests were:

- Three children, (Noah, Thea & Isaac)
Liz & Barney blow up balloons for David Tennant's surprise birthday party.
The children show their home-made Face of Boe model and picture, then Isaac has a go at operating the real Face of Boe prop, whilst Barney explains how it works.
David brings a video tape with an exclusive preview clip from Tooth and Claw which he plays in the VCR.
At the end of the show Barney brings out David's surprise birthday cake of Liz, Barney & him on the Totally Doctor Who sofa.
The Totally Filing Cabinet[[edit] | [edit source]]
Liz & Barney open the filing cabinet, this weeks items were:
- a Dalek & TARDIS picture drawn by Oliver Force.
- a TARDIS model made by Ieuan from Risca.
- a Tenth Doctor picture drawn by Nicola from Walsall.
- a photo of Connor from Luton in a Gas Mask Zombie costume.
They inform viewers that the people whose items were shown will receive a Totally Doctor Who mug, and that you can send in your items via post[1] or email.[2]

David Tennant offers viewers a signed photo of the Doctor & Rose, his script for Tooth and Claw which he has also signed, and a Tenth Doctor action figure[3] as this weeks prizes.
To enter viewers have to watch TV: Tooth and Claw and answer the following question:
- Which member of the Royal Family does The Doctor meet?
Entries had to be marked "Competition" and could posted[1] or emailed[2] in, but had to be received by 24 April 2006.

This weeks Question Master is David Tennant and the prize is his script for The Christmas Invasion signed to the winner, the loser gets a CBBC goodie bag; the contenders are Jaz & Clem.
The final scores are Jaz 4 and Clem 6; and so Clem is crowned Who-Ru.

Companion Academy[[edit] | [edit source]]
Task 1: Expect the Unexpected[[edit] | [edit source]]
Liz congratulates the eight cadets for being chosen and welcomes them to the Companion Academy. They are asked to stand in the middle of the room and cope with whatever happens to them.
A gas horn is blown at them, the room is then plunged into darkness and finally the cadets are sprayed with Silly String.
As its the first week the judges decide not to dismiss anyone from the Companion Academy.
