USS Lassiter

In a parallel universe, the USS Lassiter was a starship in the Federation Starfleet in the mid to late 24th century. The Lassiter and the USS Potemkin were the first two Starfleet vessels to respond to the Borg-Cybermen invasion of Delta IV in 2368. Lassiter was destroyed almost immediately. (COMIC: Assimilation²)

Though not seen in any great detail, the ship appeared to be of the Excelsior class, best known as the kind of ship that Hikaru Sulu eventually captained in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
