In 1964, in which it fell on a Saturday, seven-year-old Gerry Billing's family held a surprise "extra birthday" party for him at their home. Gerry, whose actual birthday was 23 December, had been unhappy about his birthday being overshadowed by Christmas two days later, as he missed out on birthday cake and received combined presents. In 1968, Gerry received a letter from the Third Doctor inviting him to a meeting at the future UNIT HQ. When Gerry and Claire arrived, the Doctor asked the boy to explain how he had seen him for the first time, realizing that Gerry had become psychically linked to the TARDIS. The Doctor broke the link and left. Ian Chesterton arrived in response to a letter from the Doctor, who had made plans for the Billings to move to Shoreditch due to their recent money troubles. The Doctor left Gerry the second Doctor Bear, and Ian learned the Doctor could change his face. (PROSE: Imaginary Friends [+]Loading...["Imaginary Friends (novel)"])

In 2008, the Sixth Doctor and Charley Pollard arrived in Manchester and found a dead body. When a local called the police, DI Patricia Menzies arrested the Doctor on suspicion of murder. The removal of a DNA patch on the victim, Gregory Bailey, revealed that he was secretly a Shinx. His murder had been arranged by himself and his wife. After the case was solved with Sam as the killer, DCI Turnbull began to suspect that the Doctor was involved in some capacity. Now on good terms, the Doctor left on Menzies' advice with Charley. Behind the scenes

The Torchwood episode Adrift [+]Loading...["Adrift (TV story)"] includes a card at around the 16 minute mark with the name Bamri Aygon, her date of birth being listed as 30/2/83. Not only is 30 February not an existing calendar date, but 1983 wasn't a leap year, making the last possible date in that month the 28th. However, this being a production error, this wiki does not consider the information listed on the envelope as valid.
