The Aapex Corporation was an unscrupulous corporation based on Mina Fourteen. They conducted an illegal experiment on the planet Nooma as a template for the bioengineering and terraforming of low-gravity planets. Aapex eventually went bankrupt, but the experiment continued to run unsupervised for almost four thousand years. (PROSE: Speed of Flight)
