Battle of Destiny

The Battle of Destiny was fought on Omnia between the Daleks and the native Omnians. Every ship the Omnians sent as the Daleks made their approach was easily obliterated by Dalek saucers. In what would later become the Forbidden Quadrant, Daleks killed 15,000 Omnians in eight seconds flat, with one shot from a Dalek superweapon. Still, the Magister refused to surrender, urging all citizens to fight to the death.

The Daleks won soon after this attack, with information given to them by Carmen Rega. Carmen, the Magister's advisor, contacted them with the location of the Magister's base of operations. Within two minutes, he was dead, and Carmen took over as the new Magister. She agreed to an unconditional surrender.

Upon their victory, the Daleks instated new laws, particularly against all reading and writing, as well as against recounting any Omnian history from before the war. Book burnings took place, an obligatory curfew began, and the Daleks set themselves up as "the Masters" on Omnia, operating out of their newly constructed Over City. (AUDIO: Emissary of the Daleks)
