Billy's grandmother once encountered the Ninth Doctor during World War II.

In May 1945, as a child, Billy's grandmother encountered the Ninth Doctor. Observing a destroyed building, he turned to her and said "Terrible, isn't it? Don't worry, it'll be over tomorrow" before leaving. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man?)

True to the Doctor's word, the following day, Field Marshal Wilhelm Keitel signed the documents of Germany's unconditional surrender, bringing Europe's involvement in World War II to an end. (PROSE: Just War, AUDIO: Just War)
