Cheldon Bonniface Invitation Eleven
The Cheldon Bonniface Invitation Eleven was a cricket side hastily arranged by the English village of Cheldon Bonniface to compete in a friendly against the Doctor's Invitation Eleven on 17 April 2010. The team was comprised of the human residents of Cheldon Bonniface.
According to the Doctor, the match would establish good will between those visitors who had suddenly turned up in the village to attend the wedding of Bernice Summerfield and Jason Kane, and the human residents of the village who were inconvenienced by the unexpected influx of visitors.
In his fifth life, the Doctor had spent a summer playing with many of the members of the side on the regular Cheldon Bonniface side.
In what was believed to be their only match, they were narrowly defeated by the Doctor's side 140-136, or 140 all out, in 40 overs. (PROSE: Happy Endings)
