Doctor's Invitation Eleven
The Doctor's Invitation Eleven was a cricket side hastily arranged by the Seventh Doctor for a friendly played against the Cheldon Bonniface Invitation Eleven in the English village of Cheldon Bonniface on 17 April 2010. The team was comprised mostly, but not excluisvely, of non-humans.
According to the Doctor, the match would establish good will between those visitors who had suddenly turned up in the village to attend the wedding of Bernice Summerfield and Jason Kane, and the human residents of the village who were inconvenienced by unexpected influx of visitors.
In what was believed to be their only match, they defeated Cheldon Bonniface 140-136, or 140 all out, in 40 overs. They scored 19 extras. (PROSE: Happy Endings)
Members included Jason Kane, John Benton, Bernice Summerfield, Hamlet Macbeth, Irving Braxiatel, the Seventh Doctor, Keri the Pakhar, Nathan li Shao, Sanki, Dr John Watson and Sgloomi Po.
