Chicxulub (species)

The Chicxulub were an ancient species of sapient lizards resembling Pterodactyls. They were a sister race to the Silurians and the Sea Devils.

The Chicxulub originally lived on the surface of Earth, but found themselves unable to live there after the K-T extinction event. The event's impact released wild fields into the skies of Earth which allowed the Chicxulub to create cities on floating islands called sky colonies. They farmed the flying pack animals mulo. The impact also gave them psychic powers and time sensitivity, which they represented by wearing jewelry of a third eye, similar to the eyes of the Silurians.
Living in the skies, the Chicxulub found themselves in opposition to the Wyrm. Some Chicxulub were corrupted by the Voice of the Wyrm, becoming Wyrmcallers. (AUDIO: The Adolescence of Time [+]Loading...["The Adolescence of Time (audio story)"])

- Although this species were not named in The Adolescence of Time, the script referred to them as the "Chicxulub", after the Chicxulub Crater.[1]
