Dark Dimensions

The Dark Dimensions were a realm or realms which were home to "a lot of nasty creatures". It was well-known to P.R.O.B.E. by the 2010s that misused Ouija boards could easily open a portal to the Dark Dimensions.
Indeed, in early 2018, a child called Steven Nelson accidentally opened a portal to the Dark Dimensions in the basement of his and his father's house in Peckham, allowing an invisible ghost, specifically a poltergeist, to step through and begin haunting their house. On 23 April 2018, P.R.O.B.E. found out about this thanks to increasingly panicked message left on a Facebook group for supernatural aficionados by Nelson Senior. Giles and Archie MacTavish were able to pinpoint the location of the portal and force the "Peckham Poltergeist" back into the Dark Dimensions using a banishment ritual, though the entity initially resisted the banishment, and they were only able to defeat it after the increasingly-distant Nelsons reconciled, thus preventing the Poltergeist from feeding on their anguish to strengthen itself.
