Dr. Who and the Nerve Machine (comic story)
Dr Who and the Nerve Machine was a comic story in Kenner's Give-a-Show Projector series of comic stories.
Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]
Approaching the Doctor in the TARDIS, Ian and Barbara are shocked to discover that he is unable to move. Using the telepathic helmet, Ian is able to reach the Doctor and discovers that he has been paralysed by the Daleks.
Approaching its station, Ian overhears one of the Daleks exclaim that the machine it is using has the Doctor in their grasp. As the Dalek briefly exits the room, Ian upsets the mechanism and ruins the nerve machine's power. The Doctor thanks Ian, as this time the Daleks had almost defeated him.

Story notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Like many stories released in the Give-a-Show Projector set, this story only illustrates a small piece of a bigger story. While it is clear that the story starts in the Doctor's TARDIS and that Ian infiltrates an area populated by Daleks, how Ian managed to find this area and if the TARDIS had already landed there is left up to the imagination.
