On the day Nate Silver died and was reborn, pieced together by Christ's Pilots, he was found clutching an egg, made of a strange material, that glowed faintly. This device was made out of the biodata of the beings Silver called Christ's Pilots, and through it they communicated with him, trading knowledge in exchange for access to his biodata when he finally died. Though the device would separate from Silver occasionally, it would always find its way back to him, eventually being used by Cousin Greenaway to trap and eliminate the crucified man.
