Where can I find a good guide to the publication of the Doctor Who comics and comic strips? I'm looking for something that covers the various reprints and what has been put into trades. I would like to dig up some back issues but I have no idea where to start. Is IDW reprinting any of the UK stuff? I did see in the latest previews where Panini was putting out a trade of some sort. --Lightsyder 17:52, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

There isn't anything sort of 'guide' guide. There is the various graphic novels that have been published by Marvel, Virgin and Paninin see Doctor Who Magazine graphic novels. As for just information have a look for the quite out of date (now) published in 1991 is The Terrestrial Index by Jean-Marc Lofficier which has a good 60 or so pages about comics though only basic details such as writer, publisher and what issue of which publication it appeared in. Other than that there are our various comic pages Doctor Who Magazine comic stories with each comic strip page having a variety of information. --Tangerineduel 13:19, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
short answer: the Panini graphic novels have (or shortly will) collect all of the adventures of the Fourth Doctor, the Fifth Doctor, the Sixth Doctor and the Eighth Doctor adventures as published in Doctor Who Magazine, except for those published out of sequence (i.e. stories published between 1996 and 2005 which involved various older Doctors ranging, namely the first five.) They have a special collecting the Ninth Doctor adventures. That leaves the Seventh Doctor and the Tenth Doctor. They'll come out with the first volume of a Tenth Doctor series of graphic novels this autumn. I think that a full color version of the early Fourth Doctor stories will come out from IDW. Better check IDW's website. --Stardizzy2 16:02, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Where can one purchase the Panini graphic novels? An eaby search turned up very little as did the Panini website. --Lightsyder 17:53, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Amazon.co.uk has them in stock (search for something like The Iron Legion and when you get to its page it should show the others in the customers who bought... section). --Tangerineduel 14:50, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
I got my Graphic novels from a bookshop, they tend to only have the latest ones though so I suggest what tangerine duel says above.--Skittles the hog 07:30, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
