Forum:Timeline deletion
If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.
Pursuant to an earlier forum discussion, the bulk of timeline sections on pages have been deleted. The bot made 2,366 changes, which is not quite the same as the total number of stories that are catalogued on the site. The reason for the discrepancy is that a few timeline sections are highly customised and do not follow the general pattern of the rest.
If you see any timeline sections, please delete them.
Despite some chatter in the forum thread about potentially keeping some timeline sections, the stronger argument that emerged, made by Tangerineduel, was that if timeline information was truly noteworthy, it belonged in the story notes or continuity sections — or, in exceptional circumstances, in the lead itself.
Timeline sections are not to be recreated.

- Virgin Missing Adventures
- Eighth Doctor Adventures
- Past Doctor Adventures
- Big Finish Doctor Who audio stories
- Big Finish Bernice Summerfield series
- Gallifrey (audio series)
- Dalek Empire (audio series)
- Cyberman (audio series)
- Iris Wildthyme (series)
- Kaldor City (audio series)
- The Companion Chronicles
