Gardens of the Dead

The Gardens of the Dead was a park of cemeteries on a planet. The park was composed of grey sand with a low psychic field, allowing visitors to be reunited with deceased loved ones. While the replications could not talk, they appeared lifelike to the visitor, appearing as constructs of sand to anyone else.
Nyssa and the Fifth Doctor were familiar with the Gardens of the Dead, later visiting them with Tegan Jovanka and Vislor Turlough. During the visit the Gardens were attacked by the Black Guardian, the Doctor believing it to be an alien parasite. (AUDIO: Gardens of the Dead)
