The Gates of Heaven guarded Heaven.
It was the job of the angel Yy to inform all of creation that Heaven was being located, but he failed to do so after he succumbed to temptation, trading his wings for a cheeseburger. With the help of the putti and Peri, Yy closed the Gates of Heaven and was able to return to Heaven. (PROSE: The Ruins of Heaven)
