According to Senior librarian Ms Millicent Davies, the Ninth Doctor used a "hand-held electronic 'eraser' device" to remove entire paragraphs from various biographies kept in the York Central Library and replace them with his own scribbles. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man?)
