The Ice Heart of Skaro was the planetary core of Skaro. It was located about 10,000 miles below the planet's surface. It was surrounded by the Morass.

In the era of Space Security Service, the Ice Heart expanded and created a fissure in the structure of Skaro which was a possible icecano site. The Bore Hole was also in danger of creating an icecano by reaching the Ice Heart.
