Jonah Strong was investigating on an Oil rig, the Albatross Alpha. He was one of the remaining people alive on the platform when the Sixth Doctor and Melanie Bush arrived. He teased Carl Price for being the safety officer. He wanted to film a documentary about artificial reefs. He was attacked by the sea gulls. He drank the water which was contaminated, this released his inner ableism and his need for success. He found a camera and unleashed a savage octopus on Hebe Harrison, intending to film her death.
