Kenneth Wolstenholme
Kenneth Wolstenholme was a football commentator and presenter.

At some point, Wolstenholme became a presenter for Match of the Day, where he discussed football matches. One such match he commentated on was a First Division match between Chelsea and Sunderland. (TV: Match of the Who [+]Loading...["Match of the Who (TV story)"])
Wolstenholme was a key figure related to the 1966 World Cup Final. When the Fourteenth Doctor was describing the closing stages of the match to a family of time tourists, he listed: "Hurst hits the crossbar, ball clips the line, referee says yes, England 3-2, Kenneth Wolstenholme, people on the pitch, Hurst again, 4-2". In real life, Kenneth Wolstenholme was the BBC TV commentator for the 1966 World Cup Final. He became famous for his quote in the dying seconds of the match, saying "Some people are on the pitch! They think it's all over! It is now!", which is also paraphrased by the Doctor and the time tourists at the end of part one of Liberation of the Daleks [+]Loading...["Liberation of the Daleks (comic story)"]. Whether the unseen TV commentator from the beginning of part two is intended to be Wolstenholme or not is unknown.
