The King in Yellow (PROSE: The Death of Art) or Yellow King was one of the Lords Celestial (PROSE: The Book of the War) and the subject of the banned French play The King in Yellow.
In the first act of that play, Naotalba's Song described "the ending of all hope" as "inhuman as the King in Yellow." Cassilida responded to Naotalba's song just before the entrance of the King. (PROSE: The Death of Art)
