N'Mobo

General N'Mobo was the President of Madagascar in either 2066 (PROSE: "We Want Thunderbirds!") or 2089.

He once fell gravely ill (PROSE: Lhomel to go as freedom force hits Astra!) and so the heart specialist Doctor Adams was flown out to treat him. However, his private jet was forced to crash land over Kenya and Adams went missing. (PROSE: Showdown in Space!) As International Rescue searched for him, the latest medical bulletins from Madagascar revealed that there was nothing more doctors could do for N'Mobo's critical condition and that his life now rested in the hands of the rescue organisation. (COMIC: Impasse) Adams was eventually found and, in an account dated to 15 April 2066, the fifty thousand inhabitants of Madagascar celebrated the news that "General N'Mobo was getting better after a desperate mercy flight across Africa had brought him life-saving drugs".
