Reinstat
Doctor Reinstat was an "old friend" of Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward who worked and lived in France.
After she was seriously wounded by a gunshot from the Bereznik agent Hermutt Clinger in 2066, Lady Penelope managed to tell Parker and Roger Lyon to take her to the Reinstat Clinic in a brief moment of consciousness. Although neither had heard of the place, they found it on a map, seventy kilometres south of their current location, and raced there in FAB 1. Once Penelope was admitted, Reinstat asked Parker and Roger to leave everything to him. Four hours later, he emerged from the operating room and informed them that the gunshot wound was fatal and invited them to see her body. However, as she explained, Reinstat was actually able to pull Penelope round with the ruse serving to prevent Bereznik from coming after her again. Penelope then organised for the news of her "double" to reach Bereznik and Reinstat arranged for a coffin to leave the Clinic, something which was witnessed by the aide of the Bereznik Secret Service Chief, thus completing her plan. The trio of special agents left the Clinic at the same time, returning first to Monte Carlo and then back to England. (COMIC: The Assassination Threat)
