Ross Nicolson was caught thieving rations from Kyle Inskip and was tried for it by Alan Weir. Peri Brown tried to stop him being executed. Alan handed him over to the Daleks; Peri tried to stop him being taken. On jumping out of the truck they were using to avoid the Dalek patrols, he broke his arm. He was attacked by a Varga plant.
