Sentry

The Half-Head Pierrot was originally was one of several sentries which were posted along the Embankment at Westminster, where they posed as living statues days in advance of the 5 March 2005 Nestene invasion of Earth. On the night of the invasion, the Nestene Consciousness was gravely wounded when it was stuck by a vial of anti-plastic during a confrontation with the Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler. As a result, all the plastic guards dissolved with the exception of the pierrot, who was left deformed while serving as a host for the single surviving "nugget" of the Consciousness. On the brink of dissolving completely, the clown merged with a human politician to form a new, stable Auton, successfully preserving the Nestene Consciousness. (PROSE: Revenge of the Nestene)
