Half-Head Pierrot

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The Half-Head Pierrot was an Auton fashioned in the shape of a pierrot, a type of clown, by the Nestene Consciousness.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Originally, it was one of several sentries which were posted along the Embankment at Westminster, where they posed as living statues days in advance of the 5 March 2005 Nestene invasion of Earth. On the night of the invasion, the Nestene Consciousness was gravely wounded when it was stuck by a vial of anti-plastic during a confrontation with the Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler. As a result, all the plastic guards dissolved with the exception of the pierrot, who was left deformed while serving as a host for the single surviving "nugget" of the Consciousness.

Observing its surroundings, the silver clown was pleased to see Central London in ruins. Reeling from its defeat at the hands of the Doctor, the clown considered a plan of revenge against the Time Lords but was interrupted by the pain as the Nestene was dying. Knowing that it contained the energy for one last reconfiguration, the clown crossed the bridge, pushing over a woman who spotted it. As it swatted aside screaming humans, the clown thought back to the destruction of Nestenia during the Last Great Time War before entering the Houses of Parliament, where it found a human body. On the brink of dissolving completely, the clown merged with the human to form a new, stable Auton, successfully preserving the Nestene Consciousness. (PROSE: Revenge of the Nestene) By 2019, the prime minister, according to Box, was a plastic duplicate. (PROSE: Out of the Box)

Appearance[[edit] | [edit source]]

Posing as a living statue, the pierrot wore a glittering silver bodysuit and had a white face. Following the near-death of the Nestene Consciousness, the pierrot was left with half a face and half a head with only one eye. (PROSE: Revenge of the Nestene)
