Slug was fighting in a local war when they encountered the War Master after he fell from the sky. They didn't believe him about a Dalek weapon and showed him information. They got trapped him after a bombardment. Slug was their call sign and they didn't have a true name. They became agitated after hearing a Dalek broadcast. Hiking through the devastation the Master and Slug encountered Time spillage. They heard a previous conversation with Scrap because of it. Kindred tried to convince them that the Master wanted to detonate the bomb not destroy it. They saw the Master detonate the bomb but it killed all the Daleks.
