:Note that I don't personally think ''crap'' is a curse word, but even if it were, the ''context'' in which Skittles used it is, to my mind, still within the bounds of civility. He isn't calling ''you'' crap, nor even your suggestion crap. Rather, he's saying that the imperative to find an image which demonstrates the latest model of Dalek is a flawed basis on which to make an infobox decision. Why? Because it promotes edit wars — an unproductive kind of one-upmanship in which people try to find the latest and greatest image, rather than concentrating on what's really important: editing the articles. | |||
