One version of Watson was tasked by {{Jacobi}}, pretending to be Sherlock looking for [[Encyclopaedia Omnia]], to help deduce the murder of on his alternatives. This shocked him especially when investigating the dead body of his doppelgänger. He discovered the [[Johanna Watson]] was an alternate version of him. This jogged a memory of his first meeting with the Master after he killed Holmes and hypnotised him. He later learned that Lestrade was actually [[James Moriarty]].
