Splice Alison Vater
Splice Alison Vater was one of the only children on an Anglican Marines' base on Kastarion 3. She regularly contacted her father when he was on missions.

Splice Alison Vater was born to John Francis Vater and his wife. Her mother died when Splice was young, with her father telling her that God had "gathered her up early" to live in Heaven and that they would meet again one day. In 5087, her father was deployed with the Anglican Marines to Kastarion 3. With no parent to care for her, Splice's father received special permission to bring her to Kastarion 3, where she remained at base.
She would often contact her father while he was out on patrol, via their comm implant. On 5 October, her father sustained injuries after a Grade 1 encounter while out on a mission. As a result, he was temporarily blinded, which led to his death at the hands of a combat-activated Villengard Automated Ambulance Unit. Splice was unaware of this, having spoken to her father via the comm minutes prior. During their last conversation, her father instructed her to brush her teeth and to find Mundy Flynn to put her to bed in his absence.
After receiving a geo-stamp of the urn-like vessel containing the remains of her father, she went into the field to collect it. Hearing her father's voice, she went to the crater where the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday had the vessel. She tried to get it off them, but Ruby stopped her when they bother fell to the ground.
