Camera question

Does looking at the camera constitute breaking the fourth wall....especially in the latter cases of Clara etc. I would argue that that is just the positioning of the camera. TheMasterRace ☎ 09:34, August 25, 2014 (UTC)

Really if you got rid of all the examples that aren't just down to framing of a shot there only The Daleks' Master Plan, which as the article says is the only implicit example of it.

I think a rewrite of the article is in order. We can probably add in that Tom Baker liked to stare down the camera. There's plenty of examples of him talking to himself/the camera. But it isn't really an example of breaking the fourth wall. At least not so much as Master Plan does. --Tangerineduel / talk 06:27, August 26, 2014 (UTC)

But is camera looking exclusive in this case? I kinda presumed that any jokes about out-of-universe aspects would be fourth-wall breaks. Like when 11 freaks out about Alex turning off scary children shows in Night Terrors, or Peri noting that the corridors all look the same in every episode. 03:59, October 25, 2015 (UTC)
