Release?[[edit source]]

Has this come out? I haven't heard anything and the page hasn't been updated, it seems to me. OS25πŸ€™β˜ŽοΈ 00:28, 3 December 2023 (UTC)

The e-book version has been out for a couple of days, yes. β€” Fractal Doctor @ 00:33, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
Indeed: see Amazon's page.
I haven't updated the page as I am not sure how to, as technically the physical book hasn't been released, therefore by the Wiki's standards it is a spoiler, plus the promo images show other unreleased novelisations. Also, does this mean that this talk page should have {{spoiler}} on it? 00:37, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
This is a released work. It's not something that's been leaked or broken its street date, it's an eBook that's available for official purchase and consumption, as is officially intended by the powers-that-be. WaltK ☎ 22:38, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
I know that, but its paperback release hasn't been published yet. We consider graphic novels that contain previously published comic strip as a spoiler, so technically this paperback release is a spoiler.
I don't like it but this Wiki has some over-the-top policies. 23:12, 3 December 2023 (UTC)

To clarify, are you saying that the entirety of the work is a spoiler, since the paperback hasn't yet been released, even if the ebook has? Or are you saying that the existence of the paperback is a spoiler even if the ebook has already released? I think the former is incorrect, but it might be what people are assuming you mean. I mean the latter. Even story titles are technically spoilers. It's ridiculous, but hey, that's the policy. 23:37, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
