The Hood's temple
The Hood's temple was his main hideout and base of operations. It was located in either the Malayan (COMIC: The Vanishing Ray) or Malaysian jungle.
In an account which dated the activities of International Rescue to the late 2080s, the Hood left the Guild and escaped with its funds in 2081. He used the money to establish a voodoo cult in the Malaysian jungle. (PROSE: Rogues Gallery)
In 2065, the news reached the temple that Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward had received an invisible ray torch. The Hood schemed in his temple about obtaining the device, pondering that with it, he could be invisible and would no longer need his disguises, thus creating the perfect cover. He later forged a passport and travelled to England to enact this plan via Fireflash. The Hood was ultimately unsuccessful and, after the whole affair was over, the British Secret Service arranged for him to be deported back to Malaya. (COMIC: The Vanishing Ray)
