Reedit source

Happy to help. And I was going to do that if he kept it up. I hold the rank of Admin myself on two other Wikis so I know about those sorts of rules.--WarGrowlmon18 03:11, January 2, 2018 (UTC)

Unsubstantiated accusationsedit source

Hello. I was just wondering if the investigation into User:Xx-connor-xX's claims that his continual mistakes were caused by my correcting of his edits was still ongoing. It has been about two months and he has neither offered any evidence to support his claims or repeated them. GusF 21:26, January 3, 2018 (UTC)

Thank you very much for setting my mind at ease. I did indeed misinterpret your earlier statement on the topic. While I certainly didn't feel as if I were under a cloud of suspicion for the last two months, I was a little concerned that an investigation was ongoing and that it might never be settled since User:Xx-connor-xX seemed to have absented himself from the Wiki. Again, thank you for clarifying the situation. It is very much appreciated. GusF 23:27, January 3, 2018 (UTC)

Potential edit waredit source

Hey there. Just bringing your attention to this: http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/First_Doctor?diff=2444232&oldid=2444097

Banana shortened the section, stated his reasoning but War keeps undoing it without justification. Reckon you could step in and resolve the matter before it escalates? They've already undone twice already. Thanks. Snivystorm 23:03, January 4, 2018 (UTC)

Re:messageedit source

Hey, got your message on the other wiki. Thanks for the kind words. Just so you know, I have no problem with your actions; you weren't even a member of the wiki when the discussion took part in 2013 so you wouldn't be aware of my arguments. I just find that a blanket undoing causes more problems than it's worth; problems are going to get through, and sure enough, there were several familiar ones that got through almost immediately that I had to deal with.

I've got a favor to ask. If you want to get in touch with me, I prefer it be done here. I try to avoid the other wiki ever since a certain user who shall remain nameless left a really profane message on my talk page to try to make a point. Thanks! Shambala108 01:28, January 5, 2018 (UTC)

Ah man, I honestly just tend to write out people's names short on the internet as a "pally" sort of thing, didn't notice that what I wrote could be seen as an insult. OS25🤙☎️ 12:24, January 16, 2018 (UTC)

Main enemy queryedit source

Hey there. Was wondering if perhaps you could clarify an issue for me. Regarding the story infobox, it says "main enemy". Given it is singular, that indicates only one enemy should go in the box no, just how only the main Doctor for the episode goes in the Doctor section and so on. The only issue I can see this creates is when a story has multiple enemies that have equal weight as could be argued in the case for Doomsday, even though I feel the Daleks are a greater threat to the Doctor than the Cybermen given he teamed up with them. Same could be said for the Zygons and Daleks in The Day of the Doctor; Zygons start as enemy but story ends with only Daleks as enemies therefore Daleks are that episodes main enemy. Just bringing this up to avoid conflicts between what is and is not to be included in that bracket. Reckon you can confirm/deny my views on the matter? Thanks! Snivystorm 20:34, January 17, 2018 (UTC)

Indeed, it was rather informative! I'll be sure to refer back to it when future debates arise. Thanks for your help. Snivystorm 23:54, January 17, 2018 (UTC)

Navigation Baredit source

I noticed in the navigation bar under Real People - Writers, Sarah Dollard is misspelt as Sarah Dollared. I would fix it myself but only administrators are able to edit the navigation bar, so I thought I'd let you know. 0003c9fe 06:31, January 19, 2018 (UTC)

4DA Overviewsedit source

Hey, figured I'd ask you this since you created the page for the first series, how exactly did you determine who was present in the 'Featuring' section? Nicholas Briggs and Geoffrey Beevers are obvious but how about the rest of them? Is it anyone who voiced in the 6 stories? Thanks for your time. 0003c9fe 06:59, January 23, 2018 (UTC)

Happy to help, saw your series 1 page and figured I'd continue on from there. Unfortunately I haven't heard the series myself so I won't be able to contribute to the Overview section. Thanks for clarifying, Tom and Louise/Mary/Lalla for the cast, and anyone else named on the stripe in featured. I'll add those to the current pages and make the rest of the series pages later today. I assume a similar project will happen soon for the 8DA audios? 0003c9fe 08:22, January 23, 2018 (UTC)

I assume by beautify a bit you mean fix the tables? Either way go ahead. I was planning on fixing the tables later since I wasn't exactly sure at the time of making them how to do the cell merging properly. That and the table section has a bit of an ugly gap but after I add the Features that'll be fixed. 0003c9fe 08:43, January 23, 2018 (UTC)

Hiya Amorkuz, On FANDOM wiki, my name is XxDachshundxX. On the 25/1/18, I believe you blocked me from my account because I named myself after my YouTube channel. I was also blocked because I posted links to my YouTube videos which are reviews on Doctor Who stories. I looked up wiki guidlines and I have not broken any rule. I have also contacted FANDOM Support and spoken to the Senior Community Manager Chen Shen, who also says I have not broken any rules and says only you can unblock me. If I have inadvertently done anything that breaks FANDOM rules, I am sorry. I am happy to change my name and not post any more YouTube links. Please contact me at [email protected] if you want to talk to me. Kind regards, Robert The preceding unsigned comment was added by 118.211.133.186 (talk • contribs) .

Prose ovRe:viewsedit source

I'm glad you enjoyed my First Doctor prose overview! I've started putting together a few others, but as you noted, they take a lot of work, so they won't exactly come quickly.

Also, I'm sure you saw that I went ahead and added our combined efforts to Bernice Summerfield (series), which looks really nice now. How far it's come! Thanks for all your help making that page more usable. :) – N8 21:26, January 29, 2018 (UTC)

Imagesedit source

Goodness, I'm sorry, but I was simply not aware that this whole time so many people have been writing their messages on my "user talk" page. I don't know why I haven't received some kind of notification like earlier. And now I stumbled there by chance…

I understand about images, just wanted to bring some visual representation without realising that it will cause difficulties due to many strict policies. Дмитрий Куклин 07:36, January 30, 2018 (UTC)

Testing infoboxesedit source

Hey Amorkuz. I've been away from the wiki for a while (and not sure I'll be able to stick around as much as I used to, but intend to help when/where I can). In the time I was away, I looked around the coding for some infoboxes, and started trying to figure out how it all works. I made an early draft of an Infobox I wanted to do for a while, but now I'm not sure how to test it. When I type Template:OncomingStorm12th/Sandbox 3 in a article, it gives me a red link back. Would I need to create an acutal template to work around it, or is there some other way I can test it before moving the code away from my sandbox? OncomingStorm12th 22:20, February 3, 2018 (UTC)

Ooh, thanks. Way easier than I though. For now, I'm simply adapting Infobox Conflict, but if (more likely when) I need assitance, I'll make sure to ask you. Thanks for the help. OncomingStorm12th 22:51, February 3, 2018 (UTC)
Well, given I just adapted another infobox, I think the initial work is basically finished. I tested the infobox in 2012 Olympics. The idea is that we use the infobox in non-conflictual events (where Infobox Conflict doesn't quite work). The list of parameters I used are located on this page. I'm here mainly to ask you, when you have the time to do so, to give an overall look at the code, to see if there's anything that needs to be corrected, improved, or if you have ideas for other parameters. OncomingStorm12th 23:21, February 3, 2018 (UTC)

Re: BF categoriesedit source

Thanks. I've been guiding myself by Category:Audio overviews; you can keep an eye on there as well to see which ranges still need sorting. In this spirit, I've been thinking about doing the same for Category:Comic overviews in the future. What do you think? OncomingStorm12th 12:13, February 6, 2018 (UTC)

Also, I made this list to mark ranges I already finished (feel free to bold the names of any range you finish working) OncomingStorm12th 12:20, February 6, 2018 (UTC)

T:SPOILedit source

I saw you closed Thread:228790 due to T:SPOIL, but I noticed our wiki's spoiler policy is specifically written to apply to Doctor Who universe media, and the wiki doesn't regard the relevant series as being in the DWU (yet). That said, the policy doesn't explicitly say that it doesn't apply to non-DWU topics, either. Could you just clarify for the record if it does also apply to non-DWU material? – N8 14:43, February 6, 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for the clarification :) I wasn't bothered at all by your closing the thread -- you made the right call. I remember wondering ages ago whether T:SPOIL applied to non-wiki stories, eg the Star Wars movies, so I just figured now would be a good time to ask. Thanks also for sharing your advice on the inclusion debate. Sorry I wasn't able to act on it quicker! – N8 20:14, February 6, 2018 (UTC)

Oh, that's alright. I've more-or-less given up on inclusion debates on this wiki; it was silly of me to forget that. I certainly don't plan on starting any debates about Vienna or otherwise anytime soon, don't you worry. – N8 13:12, February 8, 2018 (UTC)

Infobox Audio Series updateedit source

So, I started working on The Early Adventures and stumbled on a problem: the Infobox Audio Series only allows us to have 5 "|companion =" paramaters (which is, in most cases, more than enough). However, due to the nature of this series, the stories are scattered through the 1st and 2nd Doctor's adventures, meaning we get to see more than 5 companions, usually. I'm wondering if it'd be possible for you to change it to 7 (the biggest number of companions within a series of EA, in the first series). OncomingStorm12th 23:57, February 6, 2018 (UTC)

Thanks; another thing I noticed, though: some parameters are auto-linking (producer, exex prod and script ed) while others (cover, music and sound) aren't. I was wondering if it was done on purpose, or something that simply wasn't changed (there may be more parameters that aren't auto-linking, but these are the one I found so far). OncomingStorm12th 00:40, February 7, 2018 (UTC)
Another update: Infobox Audio Series only allows us to have "|series =", etc, but doesn't allow "|series2 =", "|prev2 =" (which is useful for Dark Eyes 4 (audio anthology), Series 4 (8DA) etc. If you could update it as well it'd be amazing. :) OncomingStorm12th 15:03, February 7, 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for the new updated. I actually didn't have any ideas for changing it for now; only wondered the reason for them being different (but what you said about the auto-linking made sense). Should I notice anything that might need an update/addition, I'll bring it up. OncomingStorm12th 23:22, February 8, 2018 (UTC)
Ooh, this is nice; I hadn't thought of that. Also, a problem I had today with a similar infobox: I tried to make a link on Series 4 (Torchwood) to Aliens Among Us (audio series), but just ended up with Among on the next field. Maybe having "|series 2=" etc. in there would be a way to fix it (I think making "Series 5 (Torchwood)" a redirect may be a bit misleading to some readers). What do you think? OncomingStorm12th 00:12, February 12, 2018 (UTC)
Just another bit on "|prev 2=", etc: while I think it is good that "Doom Coalition 4" doesn't become "4" under this parameter, I think that dab terms should be hidden. For example, on The First Doctor: Volume One (audio anthology), we need a link to Series 8 (CC) (the previous series), but I believe we could have it display simply "Series 8". OncomingStorm12th 20:03, February 12, 2018 (UTC)
A slight code expansion is needed. Series 6 (ST) has six script editors, but the infobox only accommodates four currently. I'm not sure if further series might have more than six, but I think it'd be good if it got expanded to accommodate aroud ten, as well as producers. OncomingStorm12th 14:47, February 19, 2018 (UTC)
Mea culpa. Thanks for updating anyway, and thanks for seeing my mistake; in the middle of adding the full information, I trully didn't notice they were one and the same. OncomingStorm12th 01:36, February 20, 2018 (UTC)
Hey, I've stumbled upon another bad term that doesn't work: (TLS). On The Fourth Doctor Box Set, there are links to Series 2 (TLS) and Series 3 (TLS), which currently display the dab terms. OncomingStorm12th 01:51, February 21, 2018 (UTC)

Dr. Who and the Daleks films’ universeedit source

I get that Dr. Who and the Daleks is invalid, but plenty of other pages concerning invalid stories (like ones about stuff from The Curse of Fatal Death and Scream of the Shalka) are marked as taking place in “alternate universes”. JMC Red Dwarf 08:03, February 7, 2018 (UTC)

Audio Series Projectedit source

I was wondering if we were going to be linking say, the 4DA series pages on the main article for Fourth Doctor Adventures, and so on for other series, and if so, how would it be done. I considered putting them as links in the series tables headers but I recall seeing something being reverted before for putting a link in a header, so I thought I'd better ask first. 0003c9fe 20:45, February 7, 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for providing an example. 0003c9fe 20:48, February 8, 2018 (UTC)

Viennaedit source

Hey, just wanted to thank you for dealing with the new Vienna threads. The original is so long and difficult to read for someone like me who has no idea about the series that I was reluctant to wade in again and would have just closed the thread outright. Thanks for your patience in reading through the original so that you could post reasonable arguments in favor of closing the new threads. Shambala108 04:02, February 11, 2018 (UTC)

Category:Bernice Summerfield storiesedit source

Ooh, the Game of Rassilon; I forgot about it when changing the categories. When I return to the Bernice Summerfield range, I'll remember to keep them in. Thanks. OncomingStorm12th 14:57, February 15, 2018 (UTC)

RE:Jacedit source

Hey, worry not ;p I did not take your comment as criticism (in fact, I came to learn that the vast majority of messages from other users aren't).

As for the Main Range, I think a bot may be needed in the near future (it would be ludicrous to ask anyone to move more than 235 links on the Infobox, let alone other links on the body of the text from Big Finish Doctor Who audio stories to Main Range. I'm thinking about contacting User:SOTO or User:CzechOut about it soon-ish. OncomingStorm12th 15:01, February 20, 2018 (UTC)

Hey, I was looking for the code of Infobox Story and found out that there's a way to create more links to Main Range without a bot. While looking at Mistfall (audio story), I saw that the infobox already displays the name Main Range; then, I went to look at the code for the infobox, and found Main Range as part of the text. This way, if you could just change it to Main Range, we'd have a lot more links to correct page (and it's simple enough that waiting for a future rename of the range isn't that necessary). Thanks :) OncomingStorm12th 14:27, March 2, 2018 (UTC)

Aliens Among Usedit source

I'm not strongly opposed to changing it back to Infobox Merchandise. The reason I made the move to Infobox Audio Series was because I though they were the new norm for audio anthologies. This is, in my view, the only argument to keep them as they are now: being consistent with most anthology pages. But I don't think it's a big loss to switch back. The basic difference between them is the "X release comprising X stories, starting with X" on the top, anyway. OncomingStorm12th 15:01, February 20, 2018 (UTC)

You're right, actually. I very much look foward to seeing how you deal with these changes. OncomingStorm12th 23:59, February 22, 2018 (UTC)

Doctor Who: The New Series updateedit source

With the ever-increasing number of ranges that Big Finish puts under "The New Series", we now need an update on the coding of Template:Navbox with collapsible groups. Currently, it accommodates 12 series, but with the release of Time War: Volume One (audio anthology), we reached 13. I think it'd would be wise if we got it to as high as 15 or 20, because Thread:Navigation templates for Big Finish audios for the "New Series" is most likely not getting closed any time soon, and future additions to the navbox may be needed. Thanks (and sorry if it feels like I'm trying to overwork you, but you're the admin that I've seen more these days, and among the ones I usually work with). OncomingStorm12th 15:21, February 22, 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for the update, and I don't feel such a rush for closing that thread now. I'm aware that usually the admin that closes a thread is one who's not taken part in it, so it makes sense you don't.
Thanks also for pointing out to me the that they plan on renaming the Main Range. It's not such a hurry, since we've gone more than a decade without it, and users can still find it quite easily as it is right on the top of the current link. OncomingStorm12th 23:59, February 22, 2018 (UTC)

but how come the Auld Mortality, Full Fathom Five, and Exile doctors have the same type of image then? are those fake too? i have been looking forever to find these images you know, and to have all these chats about two simple images that are just like the rest of the unbound doctor's images are just stressful. i get you need all the information about it, but i can't find anything about it if there is no information or contact ANYWHERE. the images are there. they are just like the AM, FFF, and EX doctor images. i know they're not fake. and i want them up here User:Jantoshipper 22:04, March 23, 2018 (UTC)
If these unbound doctor images exist on this wiki, then these pics should be allowed. the're on youtube thumbnails, and another doctor who wiki. btw, some images are a high priority as there might be no description of the thing. and look at this! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Doctor-Who-Unbound-Deadline-2003-Big-Finish-audio-book-CD-SIGNED/142728471329?hash=item213b47a321:g:ebgAAOSwUuFWz2ik User:Jantoshipper 23:04, March 23, 2018 (UTC)

Re: Faction Paradoxedit source

Yeah, I know right?!? I'm 99% sure that this is a case of an author getting enthusiastic about a few ambiguously-worded references that would be better suited on their own pages -- say, Victoria McCrimmon. However, there's rather mysteriously no option to purchase the ebook from Obverse's website, and my physical copy hasn't arrived yet, so that's admittedly pure speculation on my part. I've reached out to the editor on their talk page (and also messaged someone on tumblr who may or may not be them) in order to get pictures of the relevant pages, so I can figure out what coverage would best fit wiki policy; in the meanwhile, I've gone ahead and reverted that edit. Hoping to get to the bottom of this quite soon. Thank you for the heads up! – N8 11:42, March 22, 2018 (UTC)

Series 4 (BFTW)edit source

Ok, it'll be a bit tricky to discuss this without giving away spoilers, but do we really need to keep the Spoiler tag on Series 4 (BFTW) now that The Death of Captain Jack has been released? I get the point of doing this with Series 10 (Doctor Who 2005) and similar TV-series pages, because a lot of information is released in small chunks throughout the recording, and it'd be terribly difficult to find it all once the season was over, but this isn't the case for Big Finish's audio series. I was wondering if we could remove all spoilers the page currently has, and add them back once they stop being spoilers. OncomingStorm12th 19:54, March 29, 2018 (UTC)

Ok, I'll try to find a middle ground based on how we dealt with Series 10 (Doctor Who 2005) around the time Thin Ice aired:(Series 10 and Thin Ice pages back then) there were already links pointing to the page and the page already had files, but the spoiler tag remained, because there was also information about unaired episodes.
This way, users who arrive at Series 4 (BFTW) will be able to read about already-released stories, but they'll also be aware that there are spoilers on the page. OncomingStorm12th 23:06, March 29, 2018 (UTC)

Edit war at Prime Minister of the United Kingdomedit source

Hate to need to do this, but there an edit war at Prime Minister of the United Kingdom has begun. Maybe if it could be protected for a while, and the situation further explained to all parts. Thanks, and sorry for the need to concontac you. OncomingStorm12th 17:08, April 16, 2018 (UTC)

I understand. But thanks for at least protecting the page at least. OncomingStorm12th 17:21, April 16, 2018 (UTC)
Hi, I was the one who originally started this. I created a list, and was then told it needed citations. As I was busy adding in the citations and sorting it out, it seems an unedited IP was starting an edit war (they were on my side, but hey). I've left a post on the Talk page of the article with the list I created. Hopefully all's good and it can be added in soon. Mysterious Editor 17:29, April 16, 2018 (UTC)

UK Prime Ministers pageedit source

Thanks for protecting that page. It seems an unregistered user is editing the page to list Prime Ministers when a registered user has pointed out how it goes against T:CITE[1]. I'll leave it for the people in charge to decide what to do with it now. Trwtrwtrwtrwtrwtrwtrw 17:17, April 16, 2018 (UTC)

Cast lists responseedit source

Thank you for informing me about the mistakes I've made to the cast lists regarding recurring and guest roles. I apologise for the mistakes; as far a changing some of the character names goes, I was merely attempting to make them accurate to the on-screen credit of that character. Such as swapping out 'The Second Doctor' for 'Dr. Who' as he is credited on-screen. In any case, that you for feedback, and I will try and act on it in the future. BelcherMorganJames 16:46, April 17, 2018 (UTC)

Audio ciffhanger listedit source

I would like to address a potential problem for the wiki that I feel needs approaching. On the article dedicated to a list of cliffhangers for audio stories, I noticed there were decisively few. I understand why and this is what I feel needs addressing. The number of audios production companies such as Big Finish Productions release on a regular basis make the possibility of writing all of the cliffhangers into a list on a single page to be nearing on ridiculous, as the number of cliffhangers for the nearly 240 audio stories in Big Finish's monthly range alone would total around if not over 720 cliffhangers. I just feel as if that is **WAY** too many points for one page. I'm say saying you have to do this, but I was wondering if it would be at all possible to narrow that list down by splitting that page into a number of different page, each under a different sub-section. Like I say, I'm not insisting, but I do feel as if it would be beneficial to the wiki as a whole. BelcherMorganJames 17:50, April 22, 2018 (UTC)

[Edit wars] replyedit source

I apologise if I stepped out of line, but I think there was a mistake on how I handled it. It was not my indent to come across as authoritative, my recommendation that the unregistered login or sign up was because I thought that it would be better to talk to them. I was unaware you could speech to unregistered user until I saw that they had talked in their own page.

I'm also sorry if it looked like I was "instructing another user how to behave". I don't see how I was doing that though, so I'd appreciate it if you could inform me how I made things look that way, to better avoid doing so again in the future.

As for the whole "narrators not voice actors" thing, I'll be honest; I'm not 100% sure if it is a policy. This wiki is so full of rules, I usually just wait until I break one to find out about it. It's the main reason why I went to User:Shambala108, as she knows more about the rules than I do. Even if it's not a policy at the moment, the narrators have never been considered voice actors at the time of the event, so I just assumed that they weren't counted as such. Perhaps this incident will spark a policy on how to handle narrators in such capacity.

And as for the talk page, I'll admit I messed up there. It never crossed to do that. Sorry.

Hopefully, we don't meet in this scenario again, and will instead meet in times of debation. Until that time, BananaClownMan 18:55, April 27, 2018 (UTC)

Sorryedit source

Hey, Amorkuz? I just want to say that I'm sorry for the edits that I have done, and I'm sorry that I am basically completely oblivious to some of those minor rules that I have broken. I know now, and I will try not to do that again. Thanks, Lezof123 07:32, May 3, 2018 (UTC)

Page deletionsedit source

I acknowledge your feedback and I will try to apply it in future. I only make this suggestion about deleting pages because it was me who created and edited the pages in the first place. If I'm wrong in my assumptions, then I apologise. I just want to do what I can to make the wiki as great as it can be. BelcherMorganJames 08:25, May 9, 2018 (UTC)

About quotes?edit source

Hi, sorry to bother, but what's the state of quotes on the wiki? From what I could see, the problem with those post-regeneration Doctor quotes was that they were quite early in pages with large infoboxes and tables of contents, thus creating big pockets of white space on some devices. Tardis:Quotes still currently says that "Quotations can be used within the text body of an article to emphasis a certain point or highlight a certain issue of the article's focus; often a quote can explain things better than we can ourselves." I'd describe the quote that was on The Doctor as falling within those guidelines. Pretty sure that quotes work fine on the mobile app, so is it a matter of a pending policy to outlaw quotes in order to prevent something like the post-regenerative quotes from happening again? Rose Tyler: Midnightedit source

Hello. I wanted to ask something about a recent edit change on Rose Tyler - list of appearances. Her appearance in Midnight is longer than The Poison Sky, yet Midnight is removed due to her being on a monitor screen, the same thing as The Poison Sky?BananaClownMan 09:31, May 19, 2018 (UTC)

Ah, yes. My mistake. My eyes must be playing tricks on me. These late nights and early mornings writing my dissertation are clearly having a negative effect on me.BananaClownMan 09:54, May 19, 2018 (UTC)

Vandalismedit source

Hi, just thought I'd let you know about a new member, Slinglobby, who's 4 edits so far have all been vandalism. Thanks, 0003c9fe 07:53, May 20, 2018 (UTC)

Textless cover artedit source

Hi, I found something to do with images that I had a question about. Many of the Companion Chronicles story pages have textless cover art, which as far as I can tell have been sourced from the artists Flickr page.

However, for the first 2 seasons, whilst the textless covers are still from the artists page, I'm unsure as to whether or not they should be on the wiki. If you compare them to the original covers, you'll notice that the banner is different, so technically speaking these aren't textless covers, as other content has changed. Is this fine, or should they be removed? Thanks for your time, 0003c9fe 10:08, May 21, 2018 (UTC)

Gothedit source

At the time, I was basing that argument on Future Imperfect. However, I'm no longer convinced of that. In retrospect, I think that the in-universe evidence is too tenuous for the Wiki to hold that Goth and Gulliver are one and the same. I do believe that this was the implication but there is obviously a big difference between an implication and a definite assertion as to a character's identity. GusF 19:24, May 27, 2018 (UTC)

Target Books publications by yearedit source

Hello. I was/am working on the page for Target novelisations, an the pages under Category:Target Books by year came under my attention. Not only are they very outdated (with several file linking to deleted files), but also they are very unnusual on the wiki. As far as I'm aware, we don't have any other pages for stuff like that.

And I believe that is a good thing. For casual readers, I believe, it'd be easier if all that information was placed under Target Books, Target novelisation, Target Books novelisations covers or the relevant novelisation/novel page, for the following reasons:

 • All these cover galleries are present in the pages cited above.
 • I'm working on completing a table with all Target novelisations in the more usual style of tables (which these pages lack; their tables are also very unnusual)
 • Publication history already is present in Target Books; at most, it could benefit from a bit of information from those pages, but I think that the page is already too long.

So, in the end, those pages look really redundant. As I started to write this message, I was going to propose merging all of them into Target novelisation so I could refine the information. But as of now, I'm actually leaning towards the deletion of those pages, along with the Target years template. When you have the time, please let me know what you think. :) OncomingStorm12th 20:34, June 2, 2018 (UTC)

Hi and thank you for moderating this Fandom, I really appreciate your hard work and I'm sorry if I did something to increase your hard work instead of making it easier. In my defense, I can say I don't want to create or post new videos: I'm talking about offering a service that is fully legal. All YT videos have the option that let you add subtitles for free without doing anything against the owners: in fact each subtitle is moderated and checked before the final approvation. I warmly invite you to check for yourself, because I do understand is my word against yours. I for myself don't approve copyright violations, and I wouldn't post it if I was sure it was illegal. Again, it's just my word, and I see it's not much since the moment we're stranger to each other.

That's all, I think I'll send you my further ideas before post them in order to avoid those nasty events. Sorry again. Have a great evening! Kind Regards,

Mary

p.s.: I'm writing here because I'm not sure I've posted in the right way my previous message; once again, please forgive me for my ignorance!

Companions editsedit source

Thanks for giving me the heads-up about that. In truth, I wasn't entirely certain about putting the cast member's name in the paragraphs in the first place. I went along with it because I knew that if was incorrect, someone would tell me and I'd fix it. Cheers for the hint; I'm just doing my best to make the Wiki as good as it can be.

Apologyedit source

Hello! Sorry, I posted my message on the forum because I didn't know how to answer but I had to post it here. I apologize for what happened, I didn't know it wasn't allowed, I feel awful and it will never happen again! I'm very sorry! Mirthetje 16:48, June 26, 2018 (UTC)

Series 11edit source

Hi. I've got some new info for the Series 11 page. I know it was blocked due to recent leaks, but this one is genuine from the BBC Doctor Who site itself. --DCLM 11:42, June 27, 2018 (UTC)

Referencesedit source

Hello, I've got a query. Before I actually make any edits to the 'References' sections of any articles, could you explain to me what would qualify as appropriate material for any edits I may or may not make? I don't entirely understand what is meant by references in the context of the articles; I just need it explained to me what kind of content goes into those sections. I've been a bit confused about that since I started editing here, but I feel more confident in asking for help now, having made a few mistakes. Thank you. BelcherMorganJames 21:35, June 27, 2018 (UTC)
