Victim (Blood Invocation)

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The victim of a vicious murder on Gallifrey, a short time after the Second Omega Crisis, was a Prydonian Time Lord who had secretly been a member of the cult of Rassilon the Vampire, a monkish coven which believed Rassilon had willingly become a vampire at the end of his life. He had a discreet wrist tattoo marking him out as a member of the monkish covens.

The murder victim's body is examined by the Fifth Doctor. (COMIC: Blood Invocation [+]Loading...["Blood Invocation (comic story)"]

After another member of the cult found a sample of vampire DNA and converted himself into a true vampire, he captured this Time Lord and, hanging him upside down from a gantry above the Panopticon, drained him of blood completely, killing him before he could trigger a regeneration. His body was then found and taken to the nearby morgue, where Cardinal Hemal later allowed the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa to look over the body. Recognising the puncture marks of a vampire bite, the Doctor instructed Hemal to have a wooden stake driven through the Time Lord's (apparently singular) heart before he could rise as a vampire himself.
