William Haybourne

Dr William Haybourne was the husband of Tegan Jovanka, whom he met after she left Shawlands. He worked as a lecturer in Exeter for more than a decade before being appointed chair of St Cedd's College, after which he and Tegan moved to Cambridge.
The Haybournes were together for ten years, during which Tegan often had to apologise for his gawkishness. He often spoke about university politics with his academic colleagues and he once told Tegan that people's actions determined their destines.
In the 2030s, he fell ill whilst giving a lecture and died at General Hospital. His funeral was held in Exeter. (PROSE: Good Companions)
