World Government Official Missing was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article made reference to the Stingray content in the issue with a smaller piece tying-in to the Lady Penelope comic story The Return of Mr. Steelman [+]Loading...["The Return of Mr. Steelman (comic story)"], which was a crossover with the DWU.

- The Marshal is a senior member of the Council of Nations and was on a tour of W.A.S.P. installations.
- After his last inspection of the day, a visit to the Pacific Uranium Dredging Plant, Ketov boarded B1 so that he could be collected by Stingray but radio contact was lost before it could reach the area.
- The thousand million pound bullion monotrain on its way from Strasbourg to Frankfurt has mysteriously disappeared on its journey.
