Remember, there don't come [[British]] monarchs until 1603 and James VI. But even that's dubious, because it's more like the King of Scotland had power over England than that James VI was truly the British monarch. There's not an actual "Kingdom of Great Britain", of course, until 1707 and Queen Anne, who was swiftly followed by the Georges and the "modern" family of monarchs. Thus, since all the people on this list were nominally English monarchs, the only category that's "true" for these people is [[:category:English royalty]].

Remember, there are no British monarchs until 1603 with James VI; even in his case this is dubious as in the real world, this was only a mere personal union of England, Scotland, and Ireland. There was no political entity Great Britain until 1707, although the DWU may diverge from our own universe and call these monarchs "British." Royalty of the Kingdom of England specifically must be placed in category:English royalty.
