Stingray Breaks Out! was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article instead made reference to the Stingray comic story The Atlanta Kidnap Affair, which was a crossover with the DWU.

- Although the latest reports detailing the underwater battle in the Pacific are "still rather confused", it is known for certain that Troy Tempest, Phones Sheridan, and Atlanta Shore are safe and on their way home. (COMIC: The Atlanta Kidnap Affair, PROSE: Tempest Awarded V.M., Stingray Searches)
