Biography

In Silurian mythology, Anura stole the gift of knowledge from the Dark Ones. (AUDIO: Whatever Remains) She once encountered the Kaveetch. (AUDIO: Truth and Bone)

In a Silurian outpost beneath Dorset, Vastra and Jenny Flint discovered a holy site from even before Vastra's time which depicted Anura as a "flame figure" being chased by the Dark Ones over a mountain.

Vastra took a relic from the site upon the death of its guardian, Batraxus. (AUDIO: Whatever Remains) The relic held the bones and consciousness of Anura, which she used to defeat a troop of invading Sontarans. (AUDIO: Truth and Bone)
