Surrender was the act of submitting to another power, typically on compulsion or demand.
During the reprisal of the Thal-Dalek battle, the Thals attempted to surrender to the Daleks who invaded the Thal City only for the Daleks to refuse surrender on the orders of the Dalek Supreme. (AUDIO: Return to Skaro)
