The 2415 Dalek invasion was a failed invasion of Earth in the year 2415 waged by time travelling Daleks, planned by the Golden Emperor.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Invasion[[edit] | [edit source]]

Using time machines, the Golden Emperor planned to lead the Daleks in an invasion of Earth, setting the invasion date to the year 2415. However, the Emperor's personal time machine proved to be faulty. Whilst the Dalek invasion force landed on Earth in 2415, the Emperor landed in 1415 in the middle of the Battle of Agincourt.

Upon his arrival, the Emperor was bewildered. Before he could defend himself, he was charged and bowled over by knights on horseback, who believed him to be a "strange war machine" and "midget in golden armour". The Emperor quickly adjusted his time machine and vanished, to the astonishment of the knights. He made repeated attempts to find the correct year of invasion, but his memory cells failed him. At one point he found himself in Earth's prehistoric period, where he was attacked with rocks thrown by primitive humans.

While the Emperor was lost in time, the Daleks were left without a leader and so their invasion of Earth was a complete failure, ending with their surrender. (COMIC: The Secret of the Emperor)

Legacy[[edit] | [edit source]]

In the 40th century, (COMIC: The Brain Tappers[1]) the Emperor's experiences during the 2415 invasion were reviewed among other incidents by the Dalek Scientists tasked with rebuilding him. One scientist observed it to be the Daleks' "greatest defeat", attributed directly to the Emperor's failure. (COMIC: The Secret of the Emperor)
