The Cousin with No Name was a Faction Paradox operative who became stranded in Ming China after a confrontation with the House Military. As she waited for a rescue team for a decade, she spent her time as a traveling ritualist. Eventually she was approached by a man claiming to be an individual Grandfather Paradox. He told her that the Faction had lost its way, its leaders caring more about holding onto their own power than its original purpose, and hinted to her how to return to the Eleven-Day Empire. When she returned to the Empire, she put together a small rebellion, eventually being caught by Inquisitors of the Faction, her life reset to before she was recruited.
