Doctor Who Magazine, originally published by Marvel UK and subsequently by Panini Comics, has featured an ongoing comic strip since its inception. A number of graphic novels, bringing together collections of its comic stories, have been released as standalone publications.

Marvel[[edit] | [edit source]]

Marvel UK published three graphic novels as a trade paperbacks. All of the strips contained within these releases have been digitally restored and republished within the Panini Graphic Novels.

Marvel also published magazine-style comics that are sometimes considered graphic novels:

Virgin[[edit] | [edit source]]

Though reprinting colourised stories from DWM, The Mark of Mandragora was released by Virgin Publishing.

Panini[[edit] | [edit source]]

Specifically titled "Graphic Novels", these collections are published by Panini as trade paperbacks and include ISBNs. They feature digitally restored strips from throughout the entire history of the magazine. Unlike all of the publications detailed above, these are mostly not out of print.

Main series[[edit] | [edit source]]

Hardback editions[[edit] | [edit source]]

A premium subscription to The Complete History included a six volume hardcover set of graphic novels with spine artwork featuring the TARDIS.

Anthologies[[edit] | [edit source]]

This series collects the strips in larger, omnibus-sized volumes.

The Ultimate Comic Strip Collection[[edit] | [edit source]]

These books collected select stories previously published in the regular graphic novels, each dedicated to a specific subject. So far, the series has focused on two of the Doctor's prolific adversaries, the Daleks and the Cybermen.

The Complete Doctor Who Back-up Tales[[edit] | [edit source]]

DWM Special Edition[[edit] | [edit source]]

The strips contained within were republished in the graphic novels.

IDW Publishing[[edit] | [edit source]]

IDW Publishing published collections of colourised Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Doctor Doctor Who Magazine comic stories originally released in their Doctor Who Classics line of comics.
